The Philosophy of Tea

For centuries people have known that wisdom and advice, love and support, news and gossip, all go better with a cup of tea.

This Tea and Coffee House is a community outreach program for people to congregate, talk, learn, meet people, get involved or just pass the time.

We welcome Roberta Jones, Burgh Bees member, as our guest speaker this month. She will be leading a talk on the importance of bees, the plight of the bees, beekeeping, and the rules to follow for observing the two bee hives installed within the hospice permaculture garden area.

Tours of the Hospice Center will be available from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Tours of the permaculture garden and beehive locations, from a safe distance, will be given at 5:30PM.

We will have tea and coffee for sale.

  • Building New Hope Coffee
  • A variety Tazo Teas , Hot or Iced(caffinated and decaffinated)
  • Starbucks Hot Coffee (caffinated and decaffinated)
  • Starbucks Iced coffee and Lattes
  • Hot water for tea you bring

If you know of a community event, bring the flyer and post it on our Tea and Coffee House bulletin board.

Before sundown, tours of the Hospice Center green features will be available.
